There’s been so much activity recently I can hardly believe it’s not even two weeks into the new year! Today, RT Magazine released a feature on the most anticipated books of 2013. Hot Rods #1, King Cobra made the list of the thirteen books they’re looking forward to most this year! I’m so honored. The company was fantastic. I can’t wait to read all the rest of the books on the list by some of my favorite authors. You can check out the article here. I just received edits for this book today so hoping it will be available for pre-sale soon. It releases on 4/16, which is not so far away!
If you don’t want to wait, Pick Your Pleasure, is available now. It came out on New Year’s Day in ebook and is also available in print from Amazon or Createspace with B&N to follow soon (Also see virtual signing below!). This book is my experiment with allowing the reader to be the boss and decide what happens. I love the way it came out and the feedback from fans and reviewers has blown me away. See the post below this one for more information on the eight different stories you can build out of the book! Some vendors are still uploading (I’m looking at you iBooks!) but most are available now:
Also, Winter’s Thaw went up for pre-sale this week! Amazon, B&N, Samhain. I’m thrilled for the release of the first book in the Compass Girls series. Revisiting Compton Pass is great fun and as a bonus, I’m in the middle of writing Hope Spring (Compass Girls #2) at the moment so that’s double the treat!
There’s plenty more coming up this year. I actually have a book scheduled every other month with Samhain at least until 2015 including all six Hot Rods books, four Compass Girls books co-written with Mari Carr, the next book in the Men in Blue saga (Spread Your Wings – Jambrea, Matt and Clint’s story) and a third book in the Play Doctor series featuring Becca’s sister, Elsa. You can check the menu on the right hand side of the page for details on each book and its release date.
In addition I’m hoping to squeeze in Pick Your Pleasure 2 sometime late this summer. It will of course be Henry’s story!
Okay okay, so what about the guinea pig thing? Well, I’m trying to find a way to get autographed books to readers who can’t make it to conferences or for books that come out in between events I can meet readers at in person. I think I have my system set up but I would like to test it out. So I’m doing a mini virtual signing. Available to the first 10 readers who email me at email@example.com . I am selling autographed paperback copies of Pick Your Pleasure for $8.99 plus $3.50 shipping and handling ($12.49 total) which covers actual shipping and a bubble mailer to make sure your book arrives safe and sound.
Mr. Rylon does my mail runs and he likes to include whatever promo goodies also fit in the package, though who knows what he’ll grab on a particular day. I’ll autograph the books to you (or whoever else you like) along with any message you’d like me to include. Or if you leave me to my own devices I’ll find something to say 🙂 If this turns out to work as well as I am hoping, I’ll offer this virtual signing option on all my print books from time to time. Let’s see how it goes!
Thank you all for supporting my writing. Without you, none of this would be possible. Here’s to an amazing 2013 and beyond!
